Olympus NDT Launches New Omniscan Mx2

Olympus NDT recently hosted a product launch in Houston for its new OmniScan MX2. Additionally, several other new products were on demonstration, all related to Omniscan’s ultrasonic testing (UT) abilities.

UT is a safer alternative to radiographic testing. The OmniScan MX2 is a phased array flaw detector that features an entirely new design with a large, bright 10.4 inch LCD touch screen that provides simple and fast navigation, enhanced text input functionality and easy operation of parameter settings.
