Safety Professionals Meet For Gulf Coast NSC Conference
National Safety Council Texas Safety Conference & Expo
The National Safety Council (NSC) recently held its Texas Safety Conference & Expo — an annual event for safety professionals from the Gulf Coast and beyond looking to improve safety in their organization. The conference allows attendees of all experience levels to learn best practices and trends, network in a variety of settings and discover safety solutions from more than 150 exhibitors.
The event, held in Galveston, Texas, featured keynote speakers including Richard Hawk, director of Richard Hawk Inc., who spoke on “Finding Your Focus,” and Larry Wilson, vice president of SafeStart, who spoke on “Complacency: The Silent Killer.”
Technical sessions included “Four Key Components to a Safety Program That Works,” “Is VPP Right for Me?,” and “The Contributing Factors of Behavior-Based Safety Failures.”
The 2013 NSC Texas Safety Conference & Expo will take place April 7-9 at the Galveston Island Convention Center in Galveston.
